Piave DOP Fresco

This is a hard, cooked cheese with a compact structure and no eyes. The cheese has a supple rind and a dull straw-yellow colour.

Piave DOP Fresco has a well-balanced aroma with pleasant scents of cooked milk, yoghurt and a delicate vegetal note reminiscent of the flowery meadows of the Belluno mountains.

The sweet and savoury flavours are perfectly balanced on the palate and are accompanied by a pleasant acidic note indicating the short ripening period.

A milky taste dominates, with hints of fresh butter and yoghurt.
